So just how does Olay Regenerist Collagen Peptide 24 collection work and does it deliver? We tried the collection out and you can read our review below.
Why collagen peptides?
According to Olay, this collection has the highest level of collagen-peptides (scientific name: Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-4) in any Olay formula and it works synergistically with Niacinamide or Vitamin B3 to stimulate collagen production and restore moisture, so skin looks plumper and healthier all day long.
These peptides kick the skin’s natural collagen production into high gear, helping to diminish fine lines and wrinkles while refining skin’s texture. As Olay Regenerist Collagen Peptide 24 is formulated with a fragment of the same type of collagen found in human skin, this means better affinity to the skin as well as deeper penetration – enhanced by a unique bioavailable technology that pushes ingredients into the skin – for the molecules to work their magic and restore the skin’s bounciness.
As our skin loses collagen and ceramides (which are critical to keeping skin well-hydrated) every year as we age, the Regenerist Collagen Peptide 24 is crafted with Niacinamide to infiltrate dry skin and retain moisture, while helping with surface cell regeneration for a healthy and hydrated result. Glycerin and snow mushroom extract further supports hydration and seals moisture beneath the skin’s surface.
All this sounds great, but does it really work?

To be as objective as possible, we did not consume any collagen supplements during the course of reviewing the collection so that we can attribute any changes seen to the collagen from the Olay products.

Olay Regenerist Collagen Peptide 24 Serum
Let us first wax lyrical about the bottle. Whoever designed this serum’s bottle deserves a pat on the back! What’s so great about it? Well, whenever you close the bottle, it automatically pumps up the right amount of serum which you can squeeze out when you open it! Back to the serum itself. The serum is light and fragrance-free, which is great for people with sensitive skin. We also liked that it doesn’t leave any sticky feeling and was very quickly absorbed. |

Olay Regenerist Collagen Peptide 24 Moisturiser
Similar to the serum, the moisturiser is fragrance-free but it has a thick, creamy consistency. Nevertheless, it applies smoothly and is absorbed quickly without leaving behind any sticky or oily feeling. In fact, we were quite impressed at how silky the skin felt immediately after application. While we do not see visibly firmer skin throughout the day, we do realise that the skin isn’t as oily nor did it feel dry throughout the week that we used the moisturiser. |

Olay Regenerist Collagen Peptide 24 Eye Cream
Glad that the eye cream is fragrance-free too and one thing that we’re often afraid when it comes to eye creams is that it may be too rich – which may result in either under-eye puffiness or milia. Olay’s formula for this collection is just right and it was the eye cream where we truly saw the plumping effect! After using the eye cream for a couple of days, we saw the fine lines under the eyes smoothen out. However, we wouldn’t want you to put your hopes up too high because the deeper wrinkles are still around after 2 weeks of usage. |
In conclusion, Olay Regenerist Collagen Peptide 24 collection does really work on fine lines and is great at staving away deeper wrinkles. We also liked that it delivers moisture all day without any greasy feeling. Oh…and it is really affordable at S$54.90 per bottle!
