S$20 – S$60Shan You Counselling Centre (SYCC) delivers counselling and psychotherapy for people with:
Stress, mental health issues, couple and family issues, with or without chronic health conditions, and also for caregivers, across the lifespan. We serve everyone, regardless of ethnic background, religion and offer subsidised counselling where needed.
A series of Mind-Body Public Education Talks and Workshops is lined up for you, with the commitment to offer educational and effective strategies that improve the mental, physical, social and spiritual well-being of individuals, couples and families in the community.
The Upcoming Talk and Workshop Series in English, focuses on sleep improvement, how to detect symptoms, make sense of the disturbing symptoms when having trouble falling asleep, staying asleep, and what strategies to apply as well as how to work with your doctor and psychologist for better quality sleep.
Good time for bed: Sleep better tonight (Part 1)
In this talk, learn about:
- The impact of insomnia: understand the comprehensive effects of poor sleep on personal well-being, job performance and loved ones
- Causes and consequences: delve into the 6 common culprits of sleeplessness and how they exacerbate stress and health issues
- Blueprint for better sleep: discover the physiology of sleep and how to harness it for improved rest
- Practical tips and techniques: from sleep restriction therapy to extended exhalations, learn 10 practical steps for achieving sleep success
