To mark May Day 2026, FairPrice Group is introducing a series of promotions aimed at helping NTUC and Link members offset everyday household expenses through discounted essentials at FairPrice supermarkets and reduced-price beverages at selected Kopitiam outlets.
The supermarket promotions run from 30 April to 17 May 2026, while the beverage promotion continues through 31 May 2026.
With many households continuing to adjust to rising daily expenses, initiatives like these can support families trying to maintain healthier routines at home without increasing grocery costs — especially when planning simple anti-inflammatory dinner ideas during busy weeks.
50% Discounts on Selected Essentials at FairPrice Supermarkets
Between 30 April and 17 May 2026, NTUC and Link members can receive 50% discounts on selected essential items, with a different product featured each week across FairPrice stores and online purchases.
The first weekly promotion (30 April to 3 May) applies to Double FP Thai Hom Mali Rice 5kg, priced at $7.05 after discount. Additional weekly offers will be announced on 7 May and 14 May.
Members can access these discounts by presenting their physical Link Rewards or NTUC cards at checkout, or by paying through the FairPrice Group (FPG) app.
Additional In-App Discounts for NTUC Members
NTUC members who use the FPG app for payment can also access additional 50% discounts on selected essentials through digital vouchers released during the promotion period.
The first in-app promotion applies to FairPrice Canola Oil 2L, priced at $4.75 after discount, available from 30 April to 3 May. Further vouchers will be released on 7 May and 14 May.

50-Cent Kopi and Teh at Selected Kopitiam Outlets
FairPrice Foundation is partnering with Kopitiam to reintroduce 50-cent hot kopi and teh promotions at around 70 Kopitiam outlets islandwide from 1 to 31 May 2026.
Customers can redeem the beverage offer by presenting their silver NTUC card or applying the relevant e-voucher through the FPG app before payment.
Small everyday savings like these may seem modest individually, but they can help reduce mental load over time — something that also supports longer-term stress recovery for working families managing multiple responsibilities.
Part of a Wider Series of Cost-Support Measures in 2026
The May Day promotions are part of a broader set of affordability initiatives introduced earlier this year, including temporary price freezes on selected essentials, additional discounts for CHAS Blue and Orange cardholders, and seasonal support support programmes distributed through community partners.
For readers planning ahead in May, this is also the period when many families begin exploring practical Mother’s Day gift ideas 2026 that support everyday wellbeing at home.
