The much anticipated Island Wellness Retreat at Cempedak Island is set to return from Friday, February 28 to Monday, March 3, 2025, offering an unparalleled blend of wellness, connection, and celebration. This second edition invites guests to rediscover themselves through the transformative pillars of Balance, Flow and Focus, amidst the tranquil surroundings of Cempedak’s natural beauty.
Following the success of the inaugural retreat in October 2024, the upcoming retreat will be led by Wellness Coach, Mae Kwan, Personal Trainer and Yoga Instructor, Alyssa Kau, and Breath Architect and Cold Therapy Practitioner, Luke Tan. The Island Wellness Retreat offers both early bird and standard rate packages. Early bird rates, available until 31 January, 2025, include a 10% discount for any bookings made during the month.

An immersive journey of wellness
The retreat follows a daily program that allows participants to reconnect with themselves, and nature, through diverse wellness practices. To kickstart the event, the group will enjoy an opening ceremony on Friday night, where they will set intentions for the days ahead. On Saturday, 1 March, guests will discover the transformative power of Luke Tan’s Breathwork and Cold Therapy session, which combines focused breathing techniques with resilience-building practices. That morning, the group will also hear from the three practitioners leading the retreat as they reflect on their own personal wellness journeys.
Each morning thereafter will begin with yoga or nature walks, setting the tone for a day of rejuvenation. Afternoons will feature a variety of energising and restorative activities. Guests can alternate between Jungle Bootcamps for strength and endurance, and calming sessions such as Chakra Balancing Yoga and Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) tapping to promote emotional well-being. Time in the ocean and sustainability workshops are also available for those seeking a deeper connection with the island’s pristinely untouched environment.
Whilst unwinding each evening with vibrant gatherings at the island bar, participants can enjoy live music and meaningful conversations with like-minded individuals. The retreat will culminate with a closing party featuring a DJ set by the acclaimed Maurice Simon.
All activities are optional, allowing participants to design a schedule that aligns with their personal goals. Whether to immerse in the group’s energy, or take time for self-reflection, the Island Wellness Retreat provides a sanctuary for both connection and self-discovery.
