5 Best Places For Great Vegan Food This Veganuary

From vegan ice creams, plant-based meats and milks popping up in supermarkets, restaurants and cafés, veganism is starting to gain a lot of traction in Singapore. And if you are one of those who just recently discovered the joys of eating vegan foods, this month is your month.

What is Veganuary?

Veganuary is a movement to encourage people to go vegan for January and beyond. Since its’ inception in the UK in 2014, Veganuary has inspired and supported more than a million individuals all over the world to try veganism.

Here in Singapore, you can take the pledge here and receive great recipes, meal plans and tips on how you can get the appropriate nutrition you need as a vegan, among many other perks!

But of course, for those who don’t love cooking at home, many restaurants have come up with innovative menus for you to sit back, relax and enjoy. If you’re expecting to find boring salads that will leave you hungry, don’t! You won’t be seeing any of that with our list of the best places for vegan food this Veganuary.

SPRMRKT proves that eating healthy can be delicious. This Veganuary, they have added 3 new vegan dishes on their menu. Most importantly, SPRMRKT does not use any processed mock meats, but uses the flavours from whole foods to make their dishes taste amazing.

Opt for one of their set menus (S$35++/pax) which includes the choice of one main and a Melati Spritz to start of your meal. Melati is a vegan, non-alcoholic aperitif which SPRMRKT has fashioned into a refreshing spritz. The perfect drink to whet your appetite for a great meal.
