As part of its commitment to supporting Singaporean families, Great Eastern has unveiled the SG60 Family Initiative, offering S$400 in complimentary gift credits per child, including babies born this year, and free family insurance coverage to all families throughout 2025. This initiative aims to empower parents with a financial head start in securing their children’s future, reinforcing the importance of early financial planning.

A Helping Hand for Families in 2025

In celebration of Singapore’s 60th birthday, Great Eastern is extending free insurance protection to families throughout 2025. Recognising the rising costs of living, this initiative is designed to alleviate financial concerns and encourage better financial habits among parents.

Families with children aged 16 and below in 2025 are entitled to S$400 gift credits for every child with no cap to the total amount of gift credits claimable. The gift credits can be used to offset 10% of premiums for a wide range of protection, savings, and lifestyle plans, as well as home, motor, and travel insurance from Great Eastern.

From March 2025, eligible families can redeem the S$400 gift credits, which can be used towards securing financial products for their child’s future. In addition to the credits, Great Eastern is offering one year of complimentary family insurance coverage, allowing parents to safeguard their loved ones without additional costs.
