Designed to challenge conventions in unparalleled modernity, Le Rouge Interdit Cream Velvet showcases a revolutionary formula available in 12 shades of vibrant matte shades that has been thoughtfully designed to complement diverse complexions.
Meticulously conceptualised by Thom Walker, the Makeup Creative Director of Givenchy Beauty, Le Rouge Interdit Cream Velvet Lipstick ranges from modern nudes to deep mauve and intense reds, boasting a light-as-air cream texture infused with high-pigment colour payoff.
With shea butter and meadowfoam seed at the heart of the formula, this range also ensures hydration and nourishment, offering up to 12 hours of wear and comfort.
This creamy liquid lipstick comes with an innovative hyper-sensorial applicator that marries precision with ease of use. The flat side applies the smooth formula to the lips in a single swipe, and the tip is perfect for defining contours.
With the inspiration to design a luxurious and couture-inspired accessory for every woman, the packaging of Le Rouge Interdit Cream Velvet features a slim silhouette of a transparent glass case adorned with a black lacquer gradient and leather cap embossed with the 4G logo.
This packaging design also mirrors the House’s ethos towards sustainable luxury, with a glass case used for the packaging and the leather cap made of 30% recycled plastic. In addition, the outer box packaging uses FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council®) certified paper from sustainably-managed forests and other verified sources.
As part of this launch, the House is also proud to reveal three new shades for the Le Rouge Deep Velvet, a powdered matte and high-pigment lipstick range.
Offering absolute comfort and long wear, the shades are Beige Sable No.9 (a pinky beige), Nude Ambré No.15 (a deep copper pink) and Brun Acajou No.50 (an intense matte brown.
