It’s June and if you haven’t already celebrated it in your own way, here are some events that you can participate in – whether you’re part of the community or you’re there to support your LGBTQ+ loved ones.
Pink Dot SG
Pink Dot 14 at Hong Lim Park
Pink Dot Sg is a non-profit movement started by a group of individuals who care deeply about the place that LGBTQ Singaporeans call home. It is a group for everyone, straight and gay, who support the belief that everyone deserves the freedom to love. They hope to bring LGBTQ Singaporeans closer to their family and friends.
2023 marks the 15th gathering at Hong Lim Park and it will be held today, 24 June! So if you haven’t already made plans, do go and support the community. Doors open from 4pm onwards, with a concert at 7pm. As this is the first “night-dot”, do bring along your (pink) torches along with spare batteries.

The Givenchy Beauty Pride Gallery
This Pride Month, dive into the unique and immersive experience of The Givenchy Beauty Pride Gallery on the metaverse platform, Spatial – a venture that further reasserts the House’s role as a pioneer in the digital space.
Accessible to the public from now until 6 July, this is a first for a luxury beauty brand to host and organise a virtual ephemeral art exhibition to shed light on digital artists from the LGBTQIA+ community.
An inclusive invitation for all, the House has also collaborated with three digital artists – Vanille Verloës(@vanilleverloes), SamJ (@samjstudios) and Edgar Fabian Frias (@edgarfabianfrias) –who have each created a digital art piece in the spirit of Pride Month, all while mirroring the brand’s codes, values, and commitment to foster the freedom to be truly, yourself.
L’Arbre de Vie (“The Tree of Life”) by French Creator Vanille Verloës | “Engaged Dynamics” by Non-Binary American Artist SamJ | “Chroma Nexus” by non-binary Los Angeles-based artist Edgar Fabian Frias |

Representing individuality, The Tree of Life is a sculpture tree made up of silhouettes – a metaphor for every human being’s unique development, as individuals are shaped by diverse experiences, much like the branches of a tree growing in different directions. | This piece embodies SamJ’s trans non-binary experience in the fashion and beauty world, celebrating self-expression, reclaiming identity, and finding euphoria in queer spaces. | A captivating 30-second animated GIF, in which abstract intensely coloured shapes come to life, this piece blends the House’s legacy with the essence of contemporary art to invite viewers on a contemplative journey with indigenous futurism, glitch art and post-internet aesthetics. |
Created with inclusivity in mind, anyone can access and visit the Givenchy Beauty Pride Gallery without having to create an account. Revealing a 3D hyper-realistic environment in the brand’s colours made up of floating white marble islands and linked by a black lacquer ramp, this hyper-realistic, yet dreamy staging adds a memorable dimension to the immersive art gallery. Viewers can also fully express their authentic self through avatars.

The Spatial.io platform is accessible via iOS, Android and compatible browsers including Google Chrome (recommended), Firefox, Edge, Arc and Safari ( ≥ version 15.6).
