An artist, creative visionary and innovator, celebrity makeup artist Albert Kurniawan takes on the world with the launch of his beauty brand Téviant in Singapore. An homage to his mother Tevianty who sparked his love for beauty, it celebrates the tenacious, confident and independent individual. Working with an extensive manufacturer and team in Italy, the award-winning range has been formulated and infused with the finest cosmetic and active ingredients that benefit the skin.

The Téviant range was created with a promise to make people look good and feel good at the same time. This is why Albert places particular emphasis on creating versatile products without compromising on their quality. Having grown up in Singapore and Indonesia, Albert sets his mind to design humidity-resistant and hydrating products that can withstand the hot and humid weather conditions in Southeast Asia. From a young age, he has been inspired by the beautiful and confident women in his family. Realising the power that makeup has to transform and make people look and feel beautiful, he eventually fell in love with makeup artistry and decided to follow his passion to become a makeup artist.

Since then, Albert has painted the faces of some of the most elegant Asian superstars, fashion superstars and royal families such as Heart Evangelista, Pia Wurtzbach, Megan Young and “Princess” Syahrini. After 10 years in the industry in 2018, he created Téviant with the goal of uplifting the makeup industry – both the art itself and the artists.

“I created the brand with the Téviant individual in mind: one who is strong, versatile, independent, full of dignity and grace. I hope that my products empower all women – from makeup novices to experts – to create all kinds of looks from the elegant, to the dazzling and dramatic”, says Albert. “This launch in Singapore marks a new step in our efforts to empower and expand our community of diversified individuals, coming together to celebrate their strength through beauty.”
