Since its inception in 1993, the annual Run for Hope aims to raise much-needed awareness, funds, and support for cancer research, with the National Cancer Centre Singapore (NCCS) as the beneficiary.
More than 10,000 people are diagnosed with cancer every year, with the disease accounting for 1 in 4 deaths in Singapore. Hence, it is no longer rare to find someone we know who is or was affected by cancer. Research projects spearheaded by National Cancer Centre Singapore (NCCS) are crucial in bringing hope to all who live with the shadow of cancer in their lives. Through continuous support, Run for Hope can make a difference in the lives of those affected.
This year’s run will consist of two categories – the 3.5km family run and the 10km run for those comfortable with longer distances. There will also be the popular Executive Challenge featuring C-suite representatives taking part in the only competitive segment of the run.
We will also be joined by Senior Parliamentary Secretary, Ministry of Transport & Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth Mr Baey Yam Keng as our Guest of Honour to flag-off the race.
Individual participation rates are at S$57/person and S$35 for Juniors and Youth. Group rates are also available.
