Christmas Day Outfit Ideas

Christmas is next week and you’ve got “nothing” to wear to those parties? Don’t worry…we’ve got some suggestions below that will ensure that you look classy and perfectly Christmassy too!

Velvet tops

Velvet will immediately make your outfit seem more luxe than usual. Opt for Christmas colours such as deep red or dark green, which can be paired with jeans to give it a more casual feel or a skirt to make it a little more formal. Whatever it is, just don’t pair velvet top with velvet bottoms…for that, opt for a velvet dress. Remember to accessorise with gold jewellery to make your look pop!

Christmas red dress

During the festive season say goodbye to the little black dress and hello to a red dress. Red is a must-have colour for Christmas and will look super stylish. Another look is a long sleeve red dress with a thin black belt. An outfit like this would look beautiful for any occasion from a work Christmas party to Christmas dinner with the family. And we wouldn’t tell if you re-used this for Lunar New Year *wink*.

As white as snow

Bring out your inner Ice Queen or Christmas Angel in a mini white dress. Mix it up a little to bring out some rocker chic elements by pairing with leather jacket as well as black heels – so that you’re both naughty and nice. The jacket is also great for the cooler weather that most of us are experiencing this season!

Bring in the bling

Sequin dresses are best when you attend Christmas party as you can dazzle on the dance floor. It is a dramatic, classic and attention-getter dress reserved for the bold soul! If you’re going to be out the whole day before your party in the evening, lighten up the bright gold sequins with a black pair of leggings and a black fedora hat! Keep the accessories simple on this one as your dress is the biggest ‘accessory’ and while it’s Christmas, you don’t want to look like a Christmas tree.

Don’t forget to accessorise any of your outfits with a suitable bag and jewellery! And…do remember to check out our Christmas makeup suggestions to go with your chosen outfit.
