NParks’ upcoming redevelopment of about 170 hectares of existing parks in Singapore, including Mount Faber Park, as part of larger efforts to achieve Singapore’s vision of becoming a “City in Nature” comes timely with the increased awareness of the health benefits of nature, brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Coupled with government’s SingapoRediscovers Vouchers initiative, there has been about a 570% increase in the total of domestic visitors taking the Singapore Cable Car to re-live the feeling of travel and rediscover the beauty of nature. Perhaps this shows that Singaporeans are seeking out time in nature for mental and physical wellness benefits.
In line with this renewed focus on natural destinations and activities, Mount Faber Peak, is rolling out a more robust programme with a new focus on wellness in nature.
New focus: Bringing nature indoors
Mount Faber Peak’s new focus on wellness in nature comes with a brand new look, as well as a refreshed suite of leisure, F&B services and lifestyle activities. From an all-new lobby featuring elements of the great outdoors to the garden-themed Arbora Hilltop Garden & Bistro, offering a botanically-focused menu with dishes inspired by the local flora, visitors will experience a seamless transition from outdoors to indoors and vice versa.
Immersive activities where Nature takes the lead
The recently-introduced Gai Gai Tour offers visitors a guided heritage journey through historical points of interest, intertwined with the lush greenery of Mount Faber Peak. The Gai Gai Tour has been so well-received that even corporations have booked the tours.
Health enthusiasts can also renew their bodies and minds with monthly Yoga & Brunch sessions, a series of immersive outdoor yoga workshops in collaboration with Urban Yogis, followed by a hearty brunch at Arbora Hilltop Garden & Bistro.
Guests can even utilise their SingapoRediscovers vouchers with various family-friendly bundles! Additionally, One Faber Group’s SingapoRediscovers bundle deals have been very well-received by visitors, driving an increase in spending and footfall to One Faber Group’s other offerings. Explore our island city, whether you choose to soar through the skies on the cable car or hop aboard the Sentosa Island Bus Tour.
To encourage usage of the SingapoRediscovers vouchers, One Faber Group also collaborated with Sofitel Singapore City Centre to offer a city-to-hilltop escapade; featuring an exciting line-up of exploration experiences, including a one-night stay in Sofitel’s Luxury Room, a cable-car round trip and a 3-course set dinner at Arbora. The City to Hilltop Adventure is available for bookings via Klook from now until 31 March 2021 for stays until 30 June 2021.
