Orgasm, a pinnacle of human pleasure and connection has long captivated our curiosity and imagination. Womanizer is proud to present a groundbreaking project that explores the profound and intimate experience of orgasm through the lens of AI (artificial intelligence). A sensation familiar to most adults, yet the visual representation of orgasm has remained an elusive enigma – until now. 10 electrifying images have been brought to life: five capturing the essence of female orgasms, and five delving into the world of male climaxes.

A recent research study that examines the frequency of orgasms in a pool of over 52,000 adults reveals significant disparities in orgasm frequency between heterosexual men and women. The findings indicate that 95% of men reported usually-always orgasm when sexually intimate, while only 65% of women reported the same. Although the orgasm gap persists, Womanizer is showcasing AI-generated orgasm images from both men and women, aiming to celebrate the beauty, diversity, and shared essence of this deeply personal experience. This initiative aims to foster a better understanding of diverse orgasmic experiences and contribute towards narrowing the gap. Building upon their previous accomplishments, including the launch of the first sexual wellness space in the Metaverse, Womanizer continues to lead in technical innovation with the introduction of the first-ever AI-generated images of real orgasms. 10 anonymous volunteers (5 male, 5 female) wore heart-monitoring electrocardiogram (ECG) band sensors during their most intimate moments to capture every heartbeat, every rush, and every moment of release as they engaged with either a Womanizer Pleasure Air toy or Arcwave male masturbator. With this invaluable data to hand, Womanizer collaborated with software engineer Vika (Vika Shcherbak) and developer Nusha (Noam Rubin) to transform raw, physiological data into a series of 10 visualisations of human orgasms using AI. Each individual piece is a living testament to the intricate dance of pleasure that is the orgasm, and the remarkable interplay between body and mind.
Elisabeth Neumann, Womanizer sexologist and User Research Manager, said that “Orgasms can be powerful, intense and earth-shaking, while others are soft, tickling or surprising. It’s a sensation that many experience, yet translating those personal feelings into art takes intimacy and pleasure to a whole new level. Orgasms are as unique as fingerprints – a lively mix of colours, energies, and emotions. It’s interesting however that you can still see a gender bias in AI’s depiction of the female orgasm with more traditionally ‘feminine-coded’ colours. This reflects how deeply AI is shaped and influenced by societal norms and stereotypes, and that AI does not stand aside of these, but might reproduce them.”
