Mindful Meditation at The Big Sit @ Guoco Tower

Free – S$8Mindfulness Day on 12 September 2021 is a timely reminder for us to reflect on our state of wellbeing and recommit to being more intentional in caring for our own emotional, physical and mental wellness. With the global pandemic disrupting lives and livelihoods, taking care of oneself is especially crucial to cope with the stresses brought on by social isolation and juggling multiple commitments within the confines of the home.
To commemorate this day, GuocoLand has partnered with The Big Sit – a dedicated community that meets regularly in urban spaces to practice the skills of mindfulness for mental wellbeing in shared social meditation.
Led by experienced instructors, The Big Sit will be held at Guoco Tower’s City Room, a sheltered, open space catered for recreational and lifestyle events. Its glass canopy shelter and beautifully landscaped gardens is a perfect space to slow down and simply sit and rest in moments of stillness and silence. The 60-minute session will involve simple mindfulness movements and culminate with sitting to still the mind.
