A Children’s Day for the Underprivileged with Yu Neng Primary School
08/10/2020 @ 7:30 am - 9:00 am
In conjunction with Yu Neng Primary School’s 85th Anniversary and celebration of Children’s Day, 1,100 students from Yu Neng Primary School will exercise to raise essential products for the underprivileged of Singapore.
How is it going to be conducted?
For every 20 minutes of exercise, 3M will donate one product to a beneficiary. Students will be participating in activities such as dance sessions, volleyball, floorball and badminton, all of which have been modified to cater to the safe management measures in place in school
This is expected to contribute around 3,000 product donations to the underprivileged.
Yu Neng Primary School’s efforts support the 3M Moves @ South East initiative. A movement that encourages the public to exercise to raise $110,000 worth of products for 3,000 elderly and disadvantaged households in the South East district.
These Children’s Day activities are also in line with the school’s Lifelong Learning Programme which aims to inculcate values and build character through sports
