Why Hurt Children Hurt Children is an immersive installation by EveryChild.SG that invites the public to reflect on the often-unseen impact of emotional harm in childhood and how these experiences can shape future relationships and parenting.

The installation forms part of the organisation’s efforts to champion healthier childhoods by encouraging conversations around positive parenting, emotional wellbeing and child development.

Through a series of thoughtfully designed spaces including a preparation zone, an original short film, and a quiet decompression area, the installation encourages visitors to pause, reflect and consider how greater awareness and compassion can help break cycles of intergenerational emotional harm.

The installation is free and suitable for parents, caregivers, educators, youth workers and anyone interested in child wellbeing.
