Great Green Run 2026 Returns to Marina Barrage with Sustainable Race Experiences and Green Bazaar

The Great Green Run 2026 Singapore returns for its third edition this June, bringing together fitness, sustainability and community participation in a race experience designed to encourage environmental responsibility alongside healthy living.

Organised by Modellscape and TRI-FACTOR, the event continues to position itself as more than a typical running event. Instead, it aims to inspire participants to adopt greener lifestyle habits while engaging in activities that support climate awareness and social impact.

This year’s edition is part of Singapore’s wider Go Green 2026 initiative, reinforcing the run’s alignment with national sustainability goals and community-driven environmental action.

A Run Designed Around Sustainability

Participants can choose from three race categories — a 10km run, 5km run and an 800m parent-child dash — making the event accessible to runners of different ages and experience levels.

In line with its sustainability theme, finishers will receive plantable medals, encouraging runners to continue their environmental contribution even after race day.

The event also introduces The Hive, a new interactive activity inspired by the run’s bee mascot. Designed as an educational engagement space, it highlights biodiversity awareness and the importance of pollinators through hands-on experiences.

Green Bazaar Returns with Two Days of Eco-Friendly Shopping

Beyond the race itself, visitors can explore the Green Bazaar, a sustainability-focused marketplace taking place across two days. Featuring more than 60 stalls, the bazaar offers a mix of pre-loved fashion, accessories, handcrafted goods and food vendors, creating a lively community platform centred around conscious consumption.

The marketplace complements the run’s broader goal of encouraging environmentally responsible lifestyle choices beyond the running route.

Supporting Climate Action Through Community Participation

The Great Green Run continues to bring together runners, sustainability advocates and organisations with a shared goal of building a greener future. The event also supports Singapore’s Green Plan 2030 and contributes to broader global sustainability objectives through community engagement initiatives.

In addition, small and medium-sized enterprises can benefit from a sustainability initiative supported by the Singapore Manufacturing Federation, with up to 50 SMEs eligible to receive complimentary carbon footprint reports as part of the programme.
