The Big Sit at Guoco Tower

As urbanites, we experience sensory overload everyday of our lives. That is why we need to practice mindfulness to improve our mental well-being. It is amazing what having purposeful and conscious spaces can do to help us with this.
As the developer of integrated developments GuocoLand places emphasis on creating conducive public spaces surrounded by greenery and programmes to promote wellness for today’s time-starved and highly-stressed individuals.
World Mindfulness Day: The Big Sit
The Big Sit started with the aim to raise community awareness about the benefits of mindfulness meditation.
This monthly recurring outdoor activity is FREE and welcomes all members of the public, including those without prior mindfulness meditation experience. Each session is 45 to 60 minutes and will be guided by an experienced mindfulness/meditation teacher.
They will guide you through simple mindful movements still the mind.
Understandably, many of you are working from home. But don’t worry! The activity will also be streamed live via Guoco Tower’s Facebook page for those who prefer to join in from the comfort of their homes.
Join us on 12th September 2020, 7pm, at Guoco Tower Urban Park. Remember to wear comfortable, non-restrictive clothes, and bring a yoga mat/large towel as well as drinking water.
