Part 2: High Blood Pressure – The Silent Killer (Hypertension Health Talk Series)

25/06/2022 @ 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm

Free

In continuation of the May Blood Pressure Measurement Month (an annual global blood pressure screening awareness campaign), the Singapore Heart Foundation partners with the Singapore Hypertension Society to raise awareness of hypertension and heart risk through a two-part webinar series. Join Dr Low Lip Ping, Chairman Emeritus of Singapore Heart Foundation, to learn more about cardiovascular disease and high blood pressure.

Part 2: High Blood Pressure – The Silent Killer

Contrary to common belief, high blood pressure usually does not present any signs and symptoms until a serious complication such as heart attack, heart failure, or stroke happens, resulting in death. The second talk will discuss blood pressure, the complications, prevention, and treatment of high blood pressure.

Date and time: Saturday, 25 June at 2.30-3.30pm

Registration is free and will be held virtually on Zoom.
