Part 1: Managing Heart Health Risk (Hypertension Health Talk Series)

In continuation of the May Blood Pressure Measurement Month (an annual global blood pressure screening awareness campaign), the Singapore Heart Foundation partners with the Singapore Hypertension Society to raise awareness of hypertension and heart risk through a two-part webinar series. Join Dr Low Lip Ping, Chairman Emeritus of Singapore Heart Foundation, to learn more about cardiovascular disease and high blood pressure.

Part 1: Managing Heart Health Risk

In Singapore, cardiovascular disease (heart disease and stroke) kills 19 people every day and accounts for 31.7% of deaths in 2020. Part one of the talk series shares about cardiovascular disease and atherosclerosis, cardiovascular risk factors and how to assess and manage its risk.
