Aimed at first-time or expectant-again parents, this webinar will feature two veteran IBCLC-certified lactation consultants who are also registered nurses and midwives, and hosted by influencer and Hegen Mum, Sara Ann K. From breastfeeding to newborn care, look forward to an evening of informative presentations and Q&A session broadcasted live at a cosy event space.
Registered midwife, senior lactation consultant and Director of Mother and Child, Uma Thambidurai, will show us how to get breastfeeding off to a good start from the time you are pregnant; while registered nurse, midwife, lactation consultant and Senior Manager at Thomson ParentCraft Centre, Chen Liqin, will be touching on the important aspects of newborn care.

Chen Liqin
Senior Manager, Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) Liqin is a registered nurse and midwife with more than 20 years of experience taking care of mothers and babies. She started her nursing career in 1997 with KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital before joining Thomson ParentCraft Centre in 2006, during which she became an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant in 2013, and is also a member of the Association for Breastfeeding Advocacy (Singapore). Liqin is actively involved in antenatal and postnatal consultations for mothers, and has helped many new parents navigate and cope with the challenges of handling newborns and breastfeeding. |
