SUMMARY:Run For Hope with Limitless
DESCRIPTION:The pandemic has severely affected our economy\, lifestyle and mental health. Thankfully\, there remains some unsung heroes that work quietly every day to make a difference in our community. \nLimitless\, a Singapore-based non-profit organisation has been supporting youth aged 12-25 over the last three years with issues related to mental health by providing therapy\, counselling\, social activities and group work. \nWhy Run for Hope?\nDue to Covid-19 and the ongoing uncertainty\, Limitless has seen a huge increase in youths seeking help and sadly many of their existing beneficiaries are struggling more than ever before. \n\nSuicide prevention agency Samaritans of Singapore (SOS) reported the highest number of suicides among youths in their 20’s\nSoS cited client issues regarding romantic relationships\, struggles managing challenging situations\, and more\n\nTherefore\, Limitless has launched The Limitless Run\, a virtual run with the aim to build awareness for mental health in Singapore and to raise funds. \n  \n \nThe run will take place from Saturday 3rd to Saturday 10th October 2020. This virtual run invites participants of all ages – and abilities – to sign up and run a total of 5km. \nAll proceeds will go towards Limitless. \nWhat is included in the pack?\nAll runners will be given a Run Pack prior to the race which includes \n\nA medal\nTiger Balm muscle rub\nA subscription to RUN Singapore’s digital magazine\nThe chance to join 2 of Limitless’ Masterclasses.\n\nFor more information\, or to sign up please visit their website and register before 2nd October.
