DESCRIPTION:Want a safe\, open sharing and learning environment to find out more about a holistic and natural approach towards fertility? The Precious Plan 2019\, Singapore’s first online conference about holistic preconception and fertility wellness has been announced by Hearty Mums\, a movement founded on the belief that hearty and fulfilled Mums will raise hearty and resilient kids who will\, in turn\, make our world into a happy\, hearty place. \n \nThe Precious Plan aims to raise awareness of holistic natural ways to take care of the mind and body during preconception and improve fertility. There will be a week-long series of interviews with Singapore’s preconception & fertility experts culminating with a panel discussion. \nWhile prenatal and postnatal care is widely represented\, fertility care remains a taboo topic in Singapore. Most fertility support focuses on resolving infertility with technology and medications\, leading many women to go directly for treatments\, and being inadequately informed of how to prepare themselves physically and mentally for an enjoyable conception journey and pregnancy. Every emotion during this period\, whether with fertility issues or not\, can affect the pregnancy and development of the child. \nThrough The Precious Plan\, the organiser hopes to encourage more open conversations around natural conception and fertility in Singapore\, so women are better informed of how to prepare themselves for a healthy and happy conception journey\, and the important factors that can affect their future pregnancy and their future baby. \nThe brainchild of Sofie Hon\, a mother of 2 girls\, The Precious Plan is Sofie’s wish to empower women to create the best start for their babies\, starting right from preconception. Inspired by her own journey of becoming a mother and her experience coaching other Mums in the last three years\, Sofie saw a great opportunity to build a community for mutual support\, to equip women with the right tools\, knowledge\, and most importantly the emotional support while going through the journey and beyond\, juggling family and career. \nThe Precious Plan is happening on 12 – 16 November 2019 and is free.
