SUMMARY:The Limitless Run 2021 - I Run For Hope
DESCRIPTION:The Limitless Run (TLR) is back and last year saw the funds raised to S$60\,015 which helped to provide about 1\,090 counselling sessions for youths in need of mental health treatment. \nThis year\, things have changed and your help is needed once more. With the recent incidents that have been happening\, Limitless is seeing more and more youths reaching out for help. Last year saw a total of 373 youths but as of the end of August 2021\, that number has risen to 650. \nThat’s staggering. It’s beyond anything that could’ve been planned for. And Limitless hasn’t been able to provide every one of them the help they deserve due to the lack of mental health professionals to meet the need. The numbers are expected to rise and there is a need to expand the clinical team to provide for that increase. \nBy participating in TLR 2021\, you will be helping to fund the increased costs required to meet the growing need for Limitless’ services and enable them to expand their clinical team. This will in turn allow them to help more youths who need mental health therapy. \nVirtual Run\nAll runners will be encouraged to use a running app to track and record their time and distance\, and the finisher’s medal will be sent after verification. Besides the finisher’s medal\, all participants will also be entitled to a race pack\, and runners in the 10km solo category are entitled to a race tee (which can also be purchased separately). \nRunners will also get access to masterclasses conducted by mental health professionals from 11-15 October 2021. \nRunners are also encouraged to help multiply their impact and will be given a toolkit to help fundraise within their own communities and on social media through giving.sg. \n \nThose who do not wish to run but would still like to support the cause\, they can choose to give at www.giving.sg/limitless/tlr2021 and all donations done there will be matched dollar-for-dollar by the government! \nTo sign up for the run\, please register at https://connect.justrunlah.com/virtual-challenge/the-limitless-run-2021/. \nFor more details about The Limitless Run 2021\, please visit www.limitless.sg/run. \n\nImages: Limitless
