SUMMARY:Singapore’s Largest Free Meditation Event
DESCRIPTION:Have you ever felt overwhelmed by the demands of daily life? The familiar advice to “Just take a moment and breathe” often feels easier said than done. Yet\, there’s a profound truth behind this simple suggestion. In Singapore\, stress is an ever-present reality for many\, with 87% of individuals reporting feeling stressed in 2023\, which is notably higher than the global average. Alarmingly\, 16% of Singaporeans feel that their stress is “not manageable”. These statistics reflect the reality many face daily in our citystate. \nAs we approach the new year\, many are looking for fresh starts through diet trends or fitness fads. But what if the key to a healthier mind and body lies in a practice as ancient as time itself? Meditation has been shown to enhance mood\, boost focus\, and cultivate resilience – qualities we all need as we navigate life’s ups and downs. \nHis Holiness Shree Shivkrupanand Swami leading meditation and answering queries at Journey to Inner Peace 2018 \nHimalayan Samarpan Meditation is a transformative practice rooted in the timeless spiritual traditions of the Himalayas. Founded by His Holiness Shree Shivkrupanand Swami\, or ‘Swamiji\,’ this meditation technique is designed to offer profound simplicity and power\, providing a pathway to inner peace and self-realization. Baba Swami\, after years of intense spiritual training under the mentorship of Himalayan Gurus\, introduced Himalayan Samarpan Meditation to the world in 1994. Since then\, he has dedicated himself to sharing this practice globally\, empowering individuals with tools to access deep states of calm\, resilience\, and spiritual connection and inspiring numerous global platforms\, including Journey to Inner Peace (https://www.journey2innerpeace.com/) in Singapore. \nSince 2015\, Journey to Inner Peace has organized annual free-to-attend meditation events in Singapore\, led by His Holiness Shree Shivkrupanand Swami\, attracting over 1\,500 attendees each year. The organization also hosts daily and weekly group meditations at their Singapore headquarters\, creating a welcoming space for individuals to practice Himalayan Samarpan Meditation together. This consistent presence has fostered a strong community dedicated to well-being and soulful living\, providing Singaporeans with ongoing access to transformative meditation experiences. \nThe first Journey to Inner Peace meditation event in 2015\, drawing over 1\,800 people \nFree public event details\nDate: Saturday\, 9 November 2024\nVenue: Sands Expo and Convention Centre\, Level 3\, Hibiscus Ballroom\nDress code: Comfortable \n\nImages: Journey to Inner Peace
