SUMMARY:Canberra Art Biennial
DESCRIPTION:The 2022 edition sees the festival rebranded as Canberra Art Biennial and sees expansion to the National Arboretum (contour 656)\, the University of Canberra (contour 606) as well as maintaining and building further on our presence in North and South Canberra\, centred on contour 556\, the height above sea level of Lake Burley Griffin. \n \nContour 556 is the water level of Lake Burley Griffin\, which links the event in name as well as in purpose to the history of the central Canberra landscape. The artworks and installations selected for the festival respond in some way to Canberra’s history\, from 50\,000 years to the present day. contour 556 will therefore offer the Canberra\, Australian and international community a unique opportunity to engage with and understand the layers of Canberra’s history through art. \nThe event offers visitors a unique opportunity to engage with and understand the layers of Canberra’s history through art. Artists will be responding to the designed city of Canberra: represented by Australia’s political\, cultural\, and physical history. \nCheck out their program schedule here and plan your visit! \n\nImages: Canberra Art Biennial

SUMMARY:Frolicking Summer Series: 3-Part Virtual Workshops!
DESCRIPTION:Under Frolicking Summer virtual sexuality workshops\, we are offering three unique zoom 1.5 hour sessions! \n\nPleasuring the Penis\nFab Fellatio\nViva la Vulva\n\nThis series of virtual workshops will be open to all genders. They run 12 – 14 July 2022 and the recording will be available for 30 days! \n1. Frolicking Summer: Pleasuring the Penis \nPenises come in different sizes\, angles\, colours\, smells and tastes. This workshop is open to all genders and sexual orientations. This includes penis-owners who may benefit from learning and understanding more about their own anatomy\, and those who want to pleasure penis owners. Let’s demystify this often misunderstood part of sexual anatomy\, and get all your questions answered. \n‘Pleasuring the Penis’ is based on the tantric penis massage techniques developed by Dr Joseph Kramer who created the Sexological Bodywork certification. As a trained sexological bodyworker\, Relationship Counselor & Clinical Sexologist Dr Martha Tara Lee has been teaching these techniques for the past 10 years. As a facilitator she has a direct\, straight-talking\, and witty facilitation style. Prepare for sometimes irreverent jokes\, personal anecdotes\, and plenty of fun! \nDr Martha will cover the following topics: penile anatomy\, warming up and playing with the cock with your hands\, penis massage techniques\, how to experiment with speed / pressure / rhythm\, lubes\, safer sex\, and more. \nThese are the same techniques taught to clients who have premature ejaculation\, delayed ejaculation\, and erectile difficulties (not due to a physical nature). They are\, therefore\, therapeutic techniques often taught and used in tantra and somatic bodywork. \nThis series of virtual workshops will be open to all genders. They run 12 – 14 July 2022 and the recording will be available for 30 days! \n2. Frolicking Summer: Fab Fellatio \nExpress your Passion and Love in a new way! \nSurprise your Partner – in a good way! \nMuch more then simply a series of ‘tricks’\, we’ll be exploring how to have confidence to be playful and creative with pleasuring the penis in this virtual workshop. \nWhat is arising in you as the pleasurer? What is your relationship with your partner during fellatio? How do you engage in a way that is deeply pleasurable for you and the receiver? \nThis virtual workshop combines philosophy and practice. You’ll learn anatomy\, techniques\, deep throat\, and gagging\, as well as how to experiment with heat\, pressure and moisture. \nYou will learn: \n\nNames to the different parts of the male anatomy\nMore than 20 blow job techniques\nWhat to do with deep throat and gagging\nHow to experiment with heat\, pressure and moisture\n\nThis series of virtual workshops will be open to all genders. They run 12 – 14 July 2022 and the recording will be available for 30 days! \n3. Frolicking Summer: Viva la Vulva \nIn this workshop\, Relationship Counselor and Clinical Sexologist Dr. Martha Tara Lee will help you to understand the vulva and the vagina better\, regardless of your gender or sexual orientation. It will help you to feel more comfortable with this part of the body and more in tune with your own needs or that of your partner. \nYou will learn: \n\nSexual anatomy – including the location of the elusive G spot\nErotic massage techniques for the labia\, clitoris\, vagina\, and the G spot\nTypes of lubricants to incorporate into your sex play\nThe role and importance of breathing for orgasmic experiences\nHow to experiment with speed\, pressure\, and rhythm\n\nThe session will be held using sex toys\, all in a warm and friendly environment that encourages learning and discussion. \nThis series of virtual workshops will be open to all genders. They run 12 – 14 July 2022 and the recording will be available for 30 days! \nRead full details with testimonials here. \nS$55 per workshop\, S$150 for all three. \nAre you interested to attend the workshops but unable to afford? Dr Martha Tara Lee of Eros Coaching is offering scholarships. \nPlease note that no refund will be issued if you have paid and cannot make it for the workshop. Replacement allowed. Do check out our media policy as well. \nMore questions? \n\nWho are these workshops for? – For those wish to acquire more sexual skills and confidence in a safe virtual space.\nCan I attend this by myself? – Absolutely! You also have the option to attend with a friend! It’s also fun to learn together!\nCan my partner attend this with me? – Yes! We are pro choice. One ticket per person please!\nBut… I’m shy! – Don’t worry. You will never be forced to do or say anything during the virtual workshop. Many participants in the past have chosen to just sit and learn without saying a word. We respect individual choice.\nWhat about confidentiality? – You can choose to keep your video and audio off for the entire duration. You can private message the presenter Dr Martha so your name will not be mentioned. You can also “rename” yourself on Zoom. If you speak during the workshop\, your voice will however be recorded. We will review all this at the start of the workshop.\nWill there be nudity? – No\, we will be using sexual aids i.e. carrot or toy.\nWill there be touch? – No.\nRatio of discussion to experiential? – About 50/50 percent.\nWhat should I bring? – A phallic object for the Pleasuring the Penis workshop; a carrot (or similar) for the Fellatio workshop; a cut-out of the vulva (will be sent) for the Viva la Vulva workshop.\nWhat should I wear? – Whatever you like but no nudity is allowed.\nWhat is your refund policy? – Please note that no refunds are possible once you have paid and cannot make it for the workshop. Replacement allowed.\nI am a media member. Can I attend? – We respect the privacy and confidentiality of our participants and will never allow any interview or photography. Do check out our media policy.\nWhy are you locking latecomers out? – To provide the best workshop experience\, it is unfair to those who show up on time to have the presenter keep repeating what had already been covered. Please be on time\, and attend the entire workshop out of respect to other participants.\n\n\n\n\n\nImages: Eros Coaching

Do note this is not a replacement for psychotherapy or intensive therapy.\n\nSome commonly asked questions have included: \n\nIs there such a thing as female ejaculation?\nIs it normal to masturbate?\nHow often should couples have sex?\n… What is your question?\n\nWhy Ask Martha?\n\nFour degrees: Doctorate in Human Sexuality; Masters in Counseling; Masters in Public Policy & Management; Bachelor of Arts (Communication)\nRelated training: Certificates in Practical Counseling; Life Coaching\, and Sex Therapy\nAuthor of four books: Love\, Sex and Everything In-Between; Orgasmic Yoga; From Princess to Queen; and {Un}Inhibited\nCreator of several online programs: Ready\, Get Sex\, Go; Sex Possible; Sex Jumpstart; Tongue Twisters; Clean and Clear; Make Love Week; Sex & Sexuality 101\n12 years of experience coaching more than 1\,300 individuals and couples combined face-to-face\, as well as at least another 4\,000 people over 450 events (lost count really!)\n\nTestimonials from Previous Sessions (Known as Ask-Away)\n“The Ask Away session gives a fantastic insight on many things and was definitely an eye opener on the many aspects of what seem to be simple questions but in reality what everyone wants to ask but do not know how and to whom to ask. It deals with real issues and hints how one can grow in the sensuality world of things the way Dr. Martha deals with the questions in addition to giving an understanding on the matter of the questions.  Keep up the good work Dr. Martha and know that you are helping many a persons. I would definitely encourage one and all to attend.” – Pal\, April 2011 \n“Ask Away was the perfect opportunity for me to go ahead and ask away! The session was held in an open concept forum and it was easy to fit in with the group mix that Dr Martha had put together. I certainly gained a lot from hearing out what others had to say about my questions which broadened my views and thinking levels. The best thing about it was that the questions were displayed anonymously\, which is great for the shy ones – like me.” – Ask Away participant\, April 2011 \n“Ask Away” was an excellent complimentary platform to allow shy or even skeptical people to learn & ask what good sex & applied sensuality can do for your relationships & self-esteem. The possibility of moving on to Dr Lee’s workshops-for-a-fee is certainly higher now\, with the assurance that the issues discussed are something that can be resolved or improved\, with mutual understanding between lovers absolutely needed to be fostered & reinforced. – Dennis\, 30 year-old “Ask Away” participant\, Feb 2011 \n“Thank you for your session last week entitled “Ask Away”. It was enlightening and I have discovered that I was somewhat clueless on some areas of sex and sexuality. The information you shared helped me understand men and women better and what it takes to have better sex life. It will  help to educate others who may have the same misunderstandings. The session was well conducted and open. I liked the free exchange of information and I did not feel uncomfortable about discussions of “taboo” topics! Especially that women will climax better through clitorial masturbation and some women will even ejaculate! I love the oral sex techniques as well. Of course I will  remember NEVER to “poke\, poke”. (chuckle). Finally\, though the environment was unfortunately marred by the renovations next door\, I found your teaching to be entertaining and engaging. Overall\, I will definitely attend again and would recommend others.” – B. Y.\, Feb 2011 \n“Ask Away was a great opportunity to learn more about sex in a relaxed setting. Dr Martha Lee is approachable and professional in her conduct of the workshop and that helps to put participants at ease when learning about a taboo topic like sex which is not often talked about openly in Singapore. I would highly recommend others to sign up for Ask Away if they have questions about sex or would simply like to learn more about it.” – Anonymous\, Feb 2011

SUMMARY:Never Too Early: A Guide to Talking about Sex with Children
DESCRIPTION:As parents\, we will receive thousands of questions from our children but the one type of question that we often fear is the sexual related topic. Talking about sex\, sexuality\, and bodies should not be an intimidating experience because it is an important part of their journey in helping them to have a healthy relationship with themselves\, their body\, and the people around them. \nThe most important messages we want to provide are that you are open to talking about this topic\, you provide a safe and non-judgmental environment\, and give them confidence that they can rely on you for the right information when they have any questions or curiosity about it. \nHowever\, sexual education is not a one-off conversation like having “The Talk” when they got in trouble or when you think they are ready for it\, but it is an ongoing conversation that we can start from a young age with simple language and evolves with more details as they grow up. \nWhat to expect from this talk: \n\nUnderstanding what is sex education\nHow to be comfortable with sexual topics\nWhen do we start talking about it\nHow to talk about it\nThe importance of having this conversation\n\nThis talk is suitable for anyone who is a caregiver\, educators or parents to prepare them to be confident and comfortable in talking about sex with the children under their care. \nDate: Thurs 16 June 2022 \nTime: 7:30 – 9:00p.m. Singapore time \nFee: By donation. Recommended S$25. All contributions will be given to our workshop presenter as an honorarium. \nVenue: Virtual via Zoom \nEnquiries: To book\, please email info@eroscoaching.com \nAbout Andrea Koh\n\n\n\n\nAndrea Koh has always been passionate about sex education since young when she noticed how the lack of sexual knowledge in the community causes sexual issues and nothing is being done to help prevent it. Therefore\, she decided to be the person that started the trend of making sexual topics more open and fun to talk about. \nHaving a Master of Sexology from Curtin Australia and currently doing her Master of Professional Counselling at Monash Malaysia have provided the skills and knowledge to educate and help individuals or couples with relationship and sexual concerns. \nShe has also received American Association of Sexuality Educators\, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT) CEs on supporting clients to overcome Vaginismus. For the past 4 years\, she has been co-treating women and couples from overseas and across Malaysia with vaginismus issues along with in-house Physiotherapists at Vibrance Pelvic Health Centre using a multi-disciplinary approach. \nShe has also been featured in HerInspirasi and Jelita magazines on topics related to relationships and sex. Other than that\, Andrea has experience in educating the public about STI/HIV\, safe sex\, relationship and sex\, and how pelvic health can improve one’s quality of life. \nWebsite: www.vibrance.com.my \nEmail: andrea@vibrance.com.my \nIG: @secrettalk_andrea / @myvibrance \nFB: @myvibrance

SUMMARY:Sugar & Spice Community Sharing: Our LGBTQIA Stories
DESCRIPTION:June is Pride Month. \nThis session welcomes people of all gender\, sexual orientation and abilities. Conducted using Zoom\, you can always turn your video and audio off\, rename self\, and private message the presenter so you can participate to the extent you’re comfortable with. Auto captioning will be provided and if you have a specific accessibility request\, let us know at contact@eroscoaching.com. Recording will be made available for 30 days. \nMore about Sugar & Spice\nThe Sugar and Spice movement allows a discourse to transform conventional thinking that people raised in traditional societies are unable to express themselves with confidence and purpose when it comes to sex – preferences\, attitudes\, social discretion and judgement. What are the drivers that compel people to make certain choices in life that have a long lasting impact? \nPerhaps it is their conservative upbringing or the fact that sex has often been a taboo topic not to be spoken of at home. We aim to impart positive messages and learning around sex\, sexuality and sexual wellness. Empowering participants to listen\, observe\, learn and find sexual wellness by their own free will. \nThroughout our events we will work together with participants to question and refine their mind-set\, freeing them from any cultural measures that could have resulted in low sexual self-esteem and a fear of enjoying the pleasures of positive sexual wellness that generates happiness and overall self-positivity. Working closely with participants with care and privacy we aim to help close the gap on their lack of sexual education and positive role models regarding sexual wellness. \nThe online nature of our events allows participants from all over the world to connect and interact with others who may have a similar or comparable upbringing. To ensure that sessions are dynamic\, interactive and helpful\, speakers and facilitators are all skillful and empathetic experts in their field. \nDate: Thursday 2 June 2022\n \nTime: 7:00 – 8:00p.m. Singapore Time \nPlatform: Online via Zoom \nFee: Donation of S$10 recommended. Nobody will be turned away for lack of funds. \nSign up at www.ErosCoaching.com/Events. \nFor enquiries\, please email info@eroscoaching.com.

SUMMARY:NParks-AIA Explore a Route Challenge
DESCRIPTION:The challenge is conducted using the NParks Explore A Route (NEAR) app\, an updated version of the Coast-to-Coast (C2C) application that was first launched in 2019. The app continues to use interactive augmented reality (AR) elements to provide users with a curated walking experience\, as well as an online trail guide. The revamped app allows users to map their own trail and share it with others. \nThe goal is to encourage individuals to explore our green spaces with their family and friends and lead a healthier lifestyle. The challenge encourages park visitors to enjoy nature in a new way through the revamped app. AIA Singapore is NParks’ first partner that has come onboard to create a challenge on the revamped app. This is part of the life insurer’s commitment to support Singapore’s City in Nature vision for a more sustainable society and for families to live healthier\, longer and better lives together. \nTake part in the challenge and stand to win Decathlon e-vouchers (worth S$50 each) in the monthly lucky draw\, with three 13″ MacBook Air laptops and 10 Fitbit Sense smartwatches up for grabs in the grand lucky draw at the end of the Challenge! \n \nAbout the Challenge\nThe “NParks – AIA Explore a Route Challenge” will commence on 20 May 2022 in conjunction with the release of the NEAR app and will run till 20 July 2022. It is open to all to participate. Participants must play the in-app game Tic Tac Toe Board on the NEAR app which requires them to physically complete various trails ranging from 5 km to 15 km per trail. They will have a chance to win rewards at the end of each month within the challenge period or in the Grand Lucky Draw at the end of the challenge. There are nine starting points across eight proposed trails including the Coast-to-Coast (Central) Trail and various Park Connector Loops. AIA Singapore has contributed close to S$14\,000 worth of prizes\, which include shopping vouchers and a laptop\, towards the challenge. \nThe challenge encourages users to experience the newly added NParks-curated trails and try out the new “Phyll My Trail” feature\, which allows users to customise their own recreational trails in the revamped NEAR app. It empowers users to design routes to suit their interests and discover unique biodiversity and interesting features along the trail. In doing so\, it seeks to improve their physical and mental well-being through the positive effects of nature. \nThe NEAR Application\nSince its initial launch in 2019\, the C2C mobile application has been well received with close to 100\,000 downloads. It features interactive AR elements such as 3D-animated characters. These characters provide interesting information about native flora and fauna\, and surrounding points of interest that users will encounter along our park trails and park connectors. The revamped app now allows users to curate their own trails and share the mapped trails with their in-app friends or on social media for them to experience and enjoy. This will encourage the community to exchange experiences with others and explore a wider variety of trails. In doing so\, Singaporeans will get to appreciate nature more while forging closer bonds. This is in line with our efforts to make Singapore into a City in Nature– a key pillar in the Singapore Green Plan\, which is a national movement to advance sustainable development – to create a green\, liveable and sustainable home for all Singaporeans. \n  \nMore information about the NEAR app and challenge can be found here. \n\nImages: National Parks Board

SUMMARY:ItaliAE in Singapore: A photographic journey through Italy from Alinari to the Masters of Contemporary Photography
DESCRIPTION:From 18 May to 17 June 2022\, Singapore residents have the opportunity to do a photographic journey in Italy through the images of Alinari Foundation\, the oldest photographic agency in the world. \nThe photography exhibition ItaliAE\, organised by the Embassy of Italy in Singapore\, supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and with Alinari and Fondazione Alinari as partners\, will take place in two venues: Visual Arts Centre (18 May – 15 June 2022\, 3-9 pm\, 10 Penang Road #01-02\, Dhoby Ghaut Green\, S238469) and National Library (20 May – 17 June 2022\, 12-7pm\, Level 9 Promenade\, 100 Victoria Street S188064). Entrance will be free. \nItaly’s Ambassador to Singapore\, Mr Mario Andrea Vattani\, says: “ItaliAE is an exhibition conceived to convey the beauty and variety of Italy\, its landscapes\, its creativity and its people through photography. Singaporeans\, who are increasingly showing an appreciation of Italy and its art and culture\, will have the opportunity to discover a plural Italy\, on which over time of the gaze of photographers with very different tones\, techniques and styles has fallen\, careful to capture the country’s mobile and complex identities\, its traditions as well as its subtlest lines of evolution. We invite all the communities in Singapore to visit ItaliAE”. \n \nA composite anthology of shots – over 160 images taken from historical and contemporary archives – retraces a century and a half of history\, recreating an ideal gallery of portraits and memories\, witnessing the extraordinary vitality of Italian photography. From the Alinari brothers\, pioneers and protagonists of an approach to art and communication through images that accompanied the construction of the national identity\, to the great masters of twentieth-century Italian photography and contemporary photography. Through the works of over 75 authors\, an original visual narrative of our country is built: a story that is at the same time a small compendium of the history of photography\, its techniques and its aims and aesthetic assumptions. \n‘ItaliAE’ presents itself as a never-seen-before exhibition project\, capable of bringing together\, in a sometimes surprising way\, the photography of yesterday and today\, and techniques very distant in time\, from calotype to I-photography\, from autochrome of the early twentieth century to very modern Virtual Photography. \nThe exhibition is divided into three sections – Landscapes\, Works and Faces -\, each providing an ideal historical\, artistic and documentary journey through the modes and genres of photography: a structure that is both simple – of great impact and immediate communicative power – and complex\, able as it is to illuminate scenarios that are very different in origin and tone. \nThe exhibition\, created by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation\, in collaboration with Fratelli Alinari IDEA Spa\, curated by Rita Scartoni and Luca Criscenti\, will be presented abroad from 2021 in collaboration with the diplomatic-consular network and with the Italian Institutes of Culture. The images on display largely come from the Alinari Collections\, declared by the Ministry for Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism\, in December 2018\, “of particularly important historical interest”; These are flanked by a selection of materials taken from archives and studies of the main Italian photographers of the twentieth century – already established authors as well as young protagonists of ultra-contemporary photography. \nWhen and Where?\n18 May – 15 June 2022 / 3-9pm \nVisual Arts Centre\n10 Penang Road\, #01-02\nDhoby Ghaut Green\nSingapore 238469 \n& \n20 May – 17 June 2022 /12-7pm \nNational Library\nLevel 9 Promenade\n100 Victoria Street Singapore 188064 \n  \nFor more information\, contact segr2.singapore@esteri.it . \n\nImage and Video: Alinari Archives
