SUMMARY:CÉ LA VI with SIFA present SIFA X: LOVE DIVINE
DESCRIPTION:CÉ LA VI Singapore\, the iconic rooftop destination\, and the Singapore International Festival of Arts (SIFA) are proud to present SIFA X: LOVE DIVINE\, an extraordinary performance featuring STILL LIVES (Marina Bay) by Daniel Kok and Luke George and CHILDREN OF VENUS by Queen of Burlesque\, SUKKI. Get ready for a three-hour boundary-defying party-meets-art spectacle on 26 and 27 May 2023 at 7 pm in the Club Lounge\, set against the backdrop of Singapore’s glittery cityscape\, 57 storeys up. \nAs part of SIFA 2023 organised by Arts House Limited\, the evening kicks off with STILL LIVES (Marina Bay)\, a stunning performance by rope artists Daniel Kok and Luke George\, gradually binding a clientele of “High Net Worth Individuals” and/or “Social Influencers”. The durational rope art performance culminates in a suspension of the subjects\, against the aerial backdrop\, evoking a collective reflection of our relationship with wealth. Featuring burlesque trio The Glamourettes\, renowned drag artist Becca D’Bus\, contemporary sensual performer Francesca Harriman\, aerial artist Adelene Chua\, and burlesque aficionado Lychee Bye\, this performance explodes with sass\, taking guests on a journey from fever-pitch to hypnotic sensuality and back again. It embodies the heart and mission of SUKKI’s creative passions – defiant solidarity\, freedom of expression and feminist power that transcends labels\, all crystalising in her visionary evocation of Botticelli’s iconic birth of Venus. \nCÉ LA VI Singapore invites you to participate in Executive Chef Maksym Chukanov’s own culinary theatre with the Parmesan Custard & Jam Brioche\, a warm\, soft pillowy brioche bun exploding with a velvety salted parmesan cheese and fruit preserves custard. Chef Maksym has an instinct for experimentation\, and this exquisite vegetarian-friendly snack complements the two-day electrifying spectacle that leaves guests at the edge of their seats. \nLOVE DIVINE is a decadent reverence to evolving art forms. Each day\, 32 shortlisted riders will compete in a single-elimination tournament with the last person standing winning $500 cash and an expenses-paid trip to an overseas cycling event. \nUpcycling makes a Green Impact at PEDALFEST\nIn support of the SG Green Plan\, eco-friendly practices such as water canisters to allow participants to fill their water bottles will be introduced\, while festive goers can also sign up for an Upcycling Workshops to reuse old bicycle rims and parts to create Bicycle Lamp Art to decorate their homes. \nCommunity Engagement and Fun for All Ages\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nVintage bike lovers should make a beeline to the Ciclo e Caffe Community Corner to mingle and chat with former champion cyclists and fellow bike collectors. \nThe PEDALFEST SG Bicycle Photo Booth will also capture all festive goers in their cycling attire over two days. SUMMARY:Moon Bathing – Bi-monthly Gathering on Full Moon
DESCRIPTION:The full moon is known for its ability to manifest desires\, so if you feel like treating yourself to some self-care\, consider a moon bath. \nMoon bathing is a great way to get in tune with your body and connect with the cosmos—and it can also help you relax\, meditate\, and feel more connected to nature. \nHow Does Moon Bathing Work? \nWhen you are exposed to the light from the moon\, it can help to release melatonin\, which will help you get a good night’s sleep. The best way to do this is by going outside and basking in the moonlight— all while meditating or practicing yoga. \nWhat Can You Expect From Moon Bathing? \nWhile there are many benefits that come with doing this type of meditation\, including better hormonal health\, there are also some things that you should expect when engaging in this practice. Some people may experience feelings of peace\, euphoria\, and even heightened creativity when they go out into nature and take in all that the night has to offer. If you’re looking for something new in your life then this could be exactly what you need! \nWhat Can You Expect During Our Session \nWe will first gather at Eros Coaching office before heading off to a outdoor location. We will picnic (share food/ drinks)\, lie down outdoors\, share about ourselves and lives\, then meditate under the moon. There will be an invite to journal about what we would like to manifest in our lives being a full moon\, and a good time to gain more clarity about our life intentions. In case of rain\, we will modify the event and do it indoors at Eros Coaching office. Since we need to move outdoors \, please be on time! \nInclusion Statement \nThis is open to everyone who identifies as male or female\, straight or gay/ lesbian/ bisexual/ queer/ pansexual/ asexual — everyone! Come with an open mind\, an attitude to make friends rather than to impress! You can participate however much or little you feel comfortable with. All emotions are welcomed. \nDate: Mon 6 Feb 2023 \nTime: 7:15 – 9p.m. (Please be on time\, and be prepared stay till the end as it can be disruptive to the group) \nVenue: Eros Coaching. 23 Kelantan Lane\, #03-01A Kim Hoe Centre\, Singapore 208642 (We will leave for outdoors from 6:50p.m.). \nFee: S$25 per person (includes some light nibbles and refreshment)

SUMMARY:Run for Inclusion 2022
DESCRIPTION:Organised by Runninghour\, Run for Inclusion 2022 makes a grand return for its eighth edition as an in-person event. This year’s event will be held at Singapore Turf Club (STC) — Singapore’s oldest social horse racing club and the Corporate Partner for Run for Inclusion 2022. Gracing this year’s event as the Guest-of-Honour is President Halimah Yacob. \nRun for Inclusion is one of the largest inclusive mass running events in Singapore where participants run alongside Persons with Special Needs (PWSNs) who are that are hard of hearing\, physically\, visually and intellectually challenged and persons with autism or on mental recovery. The annual event aims to promote the integration of PWSNs into mainstream society. \nThe event features cycle\, run and walk categories where participants can choose varied distances according to their preference and ability. The categories include the personalised distance of up to 3km\, 3km or 5km run or walk\, 10km run and the 20km cycling category (which also comprises a tandem cycling category to cater for PWSNs). \nFollowing the tradition of previous years’ runs\, Run for Inclusion 2022 will continue to offer complimentary entries to all PWSNs and their caregivers (limited to one caregiver per PWSN) to encourage more PWSNs to participate in this event. These complimentary entries are made possible in partnership with Central Singapore Community Development Council under the ‘SoleMate’ programme. \nParticipants can also look forward to an exciting line-up of activities\, including a 16-metre inflatable obstacle course designed for children with special needs and a carnival. \nRace categories & registration\n\n\n\nRace Category\nThroughout Registration Period\nRegistration cost\n\n\nPWSN\nCaregiver (Max 1 per PWSN)\n\n\nPersonalised Distance\n(Below 3km)\nFOC\nFOC\nS$35\n\n\n3km Walk or Run\nFOC\nFOC\nS$35\n\n\n5km Walk or Run\nFOC\nFOC\nS$40\n\n\n10km Run\nFOC\nFOC\nS$45\n\n\n20km Cycling\n(Using your own bike and helmet)\nFOC\nFOC\nS$45\n\n\n20km Cycling\n(Require rental bike and helmet – provided at a fee of S$8)\nFOC\nFOC\nS$53\n\n\n\n*Complimentary slots will be offered to participants with special needs and a caregiver. \nDate: Saturday\, 3 December 2022\nTime: 4.30 to 7.30pm\nVenue: Singapore Turf Club \nTo register\, please visit https://www.runninghour.com/event-details/run-for-inclusion-2022.
